Late Summer Wedding at Early Mountain Vineyard

When Shante and AJ first reached out, we instantly clicked. They are two of the kindest people and we knew we wanted to be a part of their day. It was late summer - August - and the weather couldn’t have been better. Being a DC couple, they wanted a vineyard wedding, a little bit closer to Charlottesville and Early Mountain Vineyards was ideal. Their wedding was a mix of traditional Ethiopian and modern African American cultures. Their fashion choice were thoughtful and they looked regal in Kabas, worn during the reception. After the ceremony they jumped the brown, a tradition that dates back to the time of American slavery. Thanks to the amazing vendor team that included Andrew Roby and Karissa Coffey, the whole day was seamless. Shante and AJ had so much energy, joy and pure fun- it was infectious.
