UVA & Common House Wedding

There are so many things I loved about this wedding.

Lauren’s dress and Tyler’s suit. The flowers, put together by their friend and officiant, John. The ceramic vases and candle stick holders, made by the bride. The ceremony on top of the parking garage of the architecture school at UVA, where Lauren and Tyler attended and met. The colorful and modern details throughout the day and how it went perfectly with their reception at the Common House.

I could go on. But most of all I loved how much Lauren and Tyler cared for each other. And how much they were loved and celebrated by their friends and family. Lauren and Tyler put aside some time before the reception to hang out together, eat some food, have a cocktail and play some cards. It was one of my favorite things I’ve seen at a wedding. Just some time to enjoy each other. It was a last party before the quarantine, and I think everyone was glad to be able to celebrate together. We sure were. It was a blast and we are so glad we got be a part of it!
