A Trip to New Orleans

I had the opportunity to visit a city I’ve always wanted to see. New Orleans was filled with everything you’d expect - jazz, warm Beignets, people dancing in the streets. The trip was filled with everything I had hoped - good food, stories, lots of wine, and the chance to celebrate our good friend, Arley’s 30th. I took Jackson’s Nikon F3 camera to play around with. These were taken on Kodak Portra 400 and scanned at The Find Lab.

These first 4 pictures were taken at The Whitney Plantation - the only plantation museum in Louisiana with an exclusive focus on slavery. It’s about an hour drive from the city - definitely worth a visit if you’re in that area.
